High voltage test transformer operation method
1. The tested product should be cleaned first and absolutely dry.
2. Connect according to the high voltage test transformer wiring diagram.
3. Carry out an airlift test first. That is, when the test product is not connected, the voltage is increased to the test voltage, various meters are proofread, and the ball gap is adjusted.
4. Turn on the start button, the green light is on, slowly rotate the voltage regulator to boost (generally the speed can be maintained at 1.5-2 kV per second), during the boost process, monitor the reading of the voltmeter and whether the test product is normal, boost The speed cannot be too fast, and sudden pressure must be prevented. For example, the voltage regulator suddenly closes when it is not at the zero position. The power can not be cut off suddenly, and the switch should generally be opened when the voltage regulator drops to zero.
5. When the voltage rises to the required voltage for the test, start timing. After 1 minute, quickly drop the voltage below 1/3 of the test voltage before turning on the power supply.
6. During the boost or withstand voltage test, if the following abnormal conditions are found, the voltage should be reduced immediately and the power supply should be cut off. Stop the test and find out the reasons: ① The pointer of the voltmeter swings greatly; ② It is found that the insulation is burnt or smoking; ③ There is abnormal sound in the test product.
7. After the test is completed, reduce the voltage and cut off the power supply to fully discharge the tested product and the test device itself.
