How to use loop resistance tester correctly
1. According to the fHV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd.-wire measurement method, connect the test product to the instrument panel with a dedicated test line. Note that the voltage measurement line should be connected to the inside of the current output line.
2. Switch on the AC220V power supply (note: the third wire of the power supply input line must be connected to the earth), press the power switch, and the ammeter and resistance meter will display “000” (one digit can be allowed in the unnumbered beat).
3. Press the measurement switch, adjust the current output knob (clockwise) until the current meter head displays “100.0”, then read the number on the resistance meter head to be the resistance value of the tested product, and make a record. (If it displays “1”, it means the measured loop exceeds the range).
4. After the test is completed, set the current output adjustment knob (counterclockwise) to the minimum, reset the measurement switch, and then turn off the power switch.
5. To repeat the test, just reset the measurement switch, re-clamp the test clamp, and then press the measurement switch.
Operating procedures
⒈ Connect according to the fHV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd.-terminal connection.
⒉ Turn on the power.
⒊ Just press the measurement key (if the current shows that the A value is less than 100A, it can be calibrated through the panel current fine-tuning).
⒋ After measuring the displayed value, save the data.
⒌ After the measurement, please turn off the power.
⒍ Please take care of the test clamp.
