Fault in series AC resonance testing system

HV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd. specializes in producing series resonance (also known as series resonance withstand voltage test device). Next, we will share with you the troubleshooting and handling methods for series AC resonance testing system faults.

Pay attention to details together:

1. When operating the frequency conversion resonance device, there should be no less than 2 operators, and the company’s operating specifications should be followed during use.

2. This testing equipment should be handed over to industry professionals for operation. Before testing, please prepare for the operation, read the operation manual, and repeat the operation training.

3. Please connect the wiring of the device according to the specifications and do not damage the device due to wiring errors.

4. In order to ensure the safety and correctness of each test, each operator must not only be familiar with this product manual, but also follow the national operating procedures for operation.

5. When using this device, the output is high voltage or ultra-high voltage, so it must be reliably grounded during use and safety precautions must be taken during operation.  

Some common causes of faults and troubleshooting methods:

1、 Unable to complete automatic tuning, resonance point not found:

Phenomenon: The tuning curve is completely a straight line, and after tuning is completed, the instrument will prompt that there is no resonance point

Cause analysis: The circuit grounding is not reliable enough, which may be due to wiring errors in the test circuit or an open circuit in the wiring of a certain device installed

resolvent:

1. Check if the grounding equipment is reliable and if the grounding wire is disconnected.

2. Check the switch of each reactor;  

3. Check the continuity of the high and low voltage coils of the excitation transformer;

4. Check the continuity of the high and low voltage capacitor arms of the voltage divider;

5. Check the continuity of the voltage divider signal line;

6. When the device itself is boosted, there is no resonance point, and the conduction and turn off of the compensation capacitor must be checked;

2、 Fan cannot start:

Reason analysis: This is because after performing fault protection, emergency stop, and detuning protection operations, we did not press the “fault reset” button in a timely manner;  

Solution: First, turn off the device power, let the device stand for half an hHV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd., then restart the device, press the “Reset” button on the device panel, and then restart the device again.
