HV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd. specializes in producing series resonance (also known as series resonance withstand voltage equipment). Next, we will share with you how to calculate the resonance voltage.

Resonant voltage is a management term used in series resonance testing, which refers to the voltage generated when a series resonance circuit can affect the resonance technical conditions. The resonant voltage commonly heard in HV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd. country refers to the voltage of the series resonance testing device during the development of the test.

When we provide after-sales service to on-site customers, they often ask me how much the 10kV system voltage is qualified for 22kV and 35kV systems. Today, Dingsheng will share with you a series of positive vibration voltage calculation methods and standards.

Calculation method of resonant voltage

Taking the 10kV system as an example: the voltage technology level is 10kV, and the phase voltage is 8.7kV. According to the enterprise’s preventive test design standard, a resonant structure test and detection device is connected in series to achieve a maximum working voltage of 2.5U0 for the cable, which is 8.7 * 2.5 ≈ 22kV. According to different standards of students, some construction units also determine the network cable and whether it is qualified based on 2U0. Regardless of which method we use, the resonant output voltage of the series resonant test is strictly managed. We conduct HV Hipot Electric Co., Ltd. own research and testing according to the requirements specified by the company’s customers. If it is a 35kV system, the resonant control voltage is 21 * 2.5U0 ≈ 52kV; Similarly, the teaching method for calculating the resonant voltage data of 110kV and 220kV is basically the same. Teachers need to pay attention to the difference in their amplification ability. For example, in the 110kV system, the maximum target voltage of the cable in the series resonance test is 64 * 1.7U0 ≈ 109kV, and so on. If you have any questions about amplification, you can refer to the “Quality Standards for Information Handover Test of Electrical Engineering Equipment” for clear regulations.
