DC high voltage generator operation method:
Before the operation of the DC high voltage generator, prepare to connect the output cable socket of the control box with the cable socket of the voltage doubling device with a special cable. The integrity of the instrument should be checked before use. The connecting cable should not have short circuits and open circuits; Condensation phenomenon; connect the grounding terminal of the control box to the grounding terminal of the voltage doubling device with a copper wire above 2.5mm2 and ground it reliably.

Operation process:
(1) Connect the test product between the high voltage output terminal and the ground terminal;
(2) Plug in the power cord, turn on the power switch, the “high voltage” indicator (green) is on, and the “high voltage close” indicator (red) is off; the voltage display meter, current display meter, and 0.75 times the voltage display meter are all displayed zero value;
(3) Turn the voltage and current setting knobs clockwise to the end, and turn the voltage adjustment knobs counterclockwise to zero. (Note: the voltage adjustment knob is not at the zero position, and the “high voltage close” button cannot be activated);
(4) Press the “High Voltage On” button lightly, the “High Voltage On” indicator light (red) is on, and slowly adjust the voltage adjustment knob to the desired voltage value for testing. During the test, the voltage display table indicates the test voltage value, the unit is kV; 0.75 times the voltage display table 11 indicates 75% of the test voltage value, the unit is kV; the current display table 7 indicates the test current value, the unit is uA;
(5) Press the 0.75 times voltage display latch button during the test of the test product, the display value of the 0.75 times voltage display meter will be locked, and it is inconvenient to maintain the displayed value, so that it can be used as a reference voltage during the zinc oxide arrester test;
(6) Press the timer ON button at any time to start the time relay. When the timer reaches the preset time, the buzzer will sound an alarm and cut off the high voltage output at the same time;
(7) During the test, if the load current exceeds 0-10% of the rated output current of the instrument, the “overcurrent” indicator light will be on, overcurrent protection will prevent damage to the test sample and the instrument;
(8) During the test, if the test voltage exceeds 0-10% of the rated output voltage of the instrument, the “overvoltage” indicator light is on, overprotection, to prevent damage to the test sample and the instrument;
(9) After the test, turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, and the voltage display meter slowly returns to the zero position. When the three display meters show zero value, press the “High Voltage Minute” button lightly, at this time the “High Voltage Close” indicator (red) is off, the “High Voltage Point” indicator (green) is on, and then turn off the power switch;
(10) When the capacitance of the tested product is very large, after the voltage adjustment knob is turned to the zero position and adjusted to the zero position, the output voltage display meter cannot return to zero for a long time. Then use the discharge rod to discharge the test object, and then remove the test object wiring;
