Explanation of Series Resonant Voltage Divider

Instructions for using voltage divider:

1. Open the aluminum alloy box and remove the voltage divider, pressure equalizing ball, specialized digital measuring instrument, and specialized cable.  

2. Place the pressure divider cylinder and base safely and reliably, and install the second section of the pressure divider cylinder and the balance ball in sequence.  

3. Connect the ground wire firmly to the “ground wire” terminal of the voltage divider base.  

4. Connect the high-voltage line being tested firmly to the balancing ball at the top of the voltage divider.  

5. Insert one end of the dedicated cable into the output hole of the voltage divider and the other end into the voltage measurement hole of the measuring instrument. Pay attention to tight connections.  

6. Select the throwing position of the measuring instrument based on the high voltage to be measured.  

7. Load high voltage and record data.  

8. After a period of decompression, the test circuit can be removed until the measuring instrument displays zero.  

The main purpose of a voltage divider: A voltage divider is a specialized instrument for high voltage measurement, which can measure both DC high voltage and AC high voltage at the power frequency.  

The entire device consists of two parts: a voltage divider and a measuring instrument. The voltage divider adopts a balanced equipotential shielding structure, and the whole machine has the characteristics of accurate testing, good linearity, stable performance, reasonable structure, easy portability, simple operation, and intuitive display.  

Due to the lack of electrical isolation between the output of the voltage divider and the primary circuit, the voltage divider is mainly used for:

1. Grounding system DC high voltage measurement.  

2. High voltage measurement of AC power frequency between grounding system phase and ground.  

Precautions for voltage divider:

1. There should be no debris around the device during use to avoid affecting measurement accuracy.  

2. Strictly maintain the operating distance to ensure safe operation.  

3. Check whether the connections of each part are reliable, especially whether the ground wire connections are firm.  

After the measurement is completed, you can enter the field until the instrument measurement shows zero.  

5. Strictly prohibit overpressure use, pay attention to surface cleanliness, and store in a cool and dry place when not in use
